Spin a nation and a year, draft a legend, build your XI and simulate your World Cup run. Free to play in your browser, no download and no account needed.

The rules

1. Every round the wheel lands on a country and a World Cup year, 1966 to 2026. Draft one player from that squad into an open slot.
2. Pick your draft size. Quick Draft is six rounds; Full Team is a complete XI over 11 rounds, with three FLEX slots you can fill with any outfield player.
3. Pick your difficulty. Easy shows overall ratings as you draft. Hard hides them, so you go on name and gut alone.
4. Your Team OVR starts as the average rating of your XI, then climbs for 99-rated legends, captains and major individual awards. The best squads push past 100.
5. Your FLEX picks settle your XI into a real formation and a tactical identity. Shape changes how matches play out, but it does not change your Team OVR.
6. Simulate the group stage, the knockouts and the final against real historical squads. Quality leads, but upsets happen and level matches go to penalties.

How hard is the trophy?

Deliberately hard. An 86 OVR side lifts it a couple of percent of the time, 90 is about one in five, 92 about two in five, and a 99-rated super team wins it upwards of 80%. Below 86 it is a long shot by design, and squads in the low 80s face an extra hurdle in the first knockout rounds.
