RunThe.GG makes sports simulation games. Because those games use the names of real leagues, real teams and real athletes, it matters that we are clear about what this site is and, just as importantly, what it isn't.
We are not affiliated with anyone
Every game on RunThe.GG is an independent, unofficial fan project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to:
- The National Football League, any NFL club, or the NFL Players Association;
- FIFA, any confederation, or any national football association;
- The PGA Tour, the R&A, the USGA, or any golf tour or governing body;
- Any professional wrestling promotion;
- Any athlete, coach, or their representatives.
Team names, competition names and player names are used purely to identify the real people and organisations our simulations are modelled on. All trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners. We use no official logos or club crests. If you are a rights holder and you have a concern about anything on this site, email hello@runthe.gg and we will respond quickly.
Results are simulated, not predictions
Every score, career, tournament and leaderboard result on this site is produced by our own simulation engines running on statistical models. They are entertainment.
Nothing on RunThe.GG is a prediction, a tip, or advice of any kind. Our simulated results say nothing about how a real match, tournament or season will unfold, and they must not be used as the basis for any betting, fantasy sports, financial or other real-world decision. We accept no responsibility for anything anyone does on the back of a simulated result.
About our data and ratings
Player ratings are derived from publicly available historical statistics, and in the case of Run The Tour from DataGolf data. We build those numbers into game ratings using our own models and our own judgement.
A rating in one of our games is our interpretation for gameplay purposes, not an official assessment of any athlete and not a factual claim about them. We work to keep the underlying data accurate, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current or error-free. Spotted something wrong? Please tell us.
No real-money gambling
RunThe.GG contains no gambling of any kind. There is nothing to wager, no prizes with cash value, and no way to buy anything. In-game currency such as coins is earned by playing, cannot be purchased, cannot be cashed out, and has no real-world monetary value whatsoever.
Ads and external links
This site is free and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are chosen and delivered by Google, not selected by us, and their appearance on RunThe.GG is not an endorsement of the advertiser or their product. How advertising works here is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Where we link out to another website, we do so because we think it's useful. We have no control over the content of external sites and are not responsible for it.
The site is provided "as is"
We build these games carefully, but we offer them without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, that saved progress will never be lost, or that the games will be free of bugs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RunThe.GG is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Your full agreement with us is set out in our Terms of Use.
