Welcome to RunThe.GG. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RunThe.GG website and all of the games and features on it, including RunThePitch and RunTheTour. By playing a game, creating an account, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What RunThe.GG is

RunThe.GG is a free collection of quick, browser-based sports simulation games. There is nothing to download and no purchase is ever required. Our games are games of strategy and simulated chance played for entertainment. In-game currency, prize money, ratings, trophies, and rankings have no real-world value, cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, or exchanged, and are not a form of gambling or wagering.

Eligibility and age

You may play as a guest without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Not affiliated with any real organization

RunThe.GG and its games are independent, unofficial fan projects. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, the World Cup, the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, the Masters Tournament, the Olympics, or any league, federation, tournament, team, club, or athlete named or depicted in a game. Real names and publicly available statistics are used to build fictional, simulated players and outcomes for entertainment purposes only. All scores, results, earnings, and rankings generated in our games are fictional and do not represent real-world events.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account. Choose a username that is not offensive, impersonating, or misleading. We may rename, suspend, or remove accounts, usernames, or leaderboard entries that violate these Terms or that we reasonably determine were used to abuse, spam, cheat, or manipulate a leaderboard.

Acceptable use

When using RunThe.GG, you agree not to: break the law; interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or other players' accounts; use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to manipulate scores or leaderboards; or copy, resell, or redistribute the site or its content without permission.

Intellectual property

The RunThe.GG name, logos, original game designs, code, text, and artwork are owned by us and protected by law. You may play the games for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our original content without written permission. Third-party names and data referenced in the games remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to build fictional simulations as described above.

Advertising and third-party services

We show ads, including through Google AdSense, to keep RunThe.GG free. Account sign-in and data storage are handled by our provider, Supabase, and optional Google sign-in is handled by Google. Your use of those services and of any third-party links is subject to their own terms. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

RunThe.GG is provided "as is" and "as available," in active development, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site, its games, the leaderboards, or your saved progress will always be available, error-free, secure, or preserved indefinitely.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RunThe.GG and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its games.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under those local laws.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
