World Cup Game
Draft a squad of World Cup legends and simulate your run to the trophy.
Every round the wheel lands on a country and a World Cup year (1966–2026). You draft one player from that squad into an open slot. Great teams come from reading the spin — knowing which nations were stacked in which year.
Two draft sizes:
Two difficulties: Easy shows overall ratings while you draft so you can chase the strongest lineup. Hard hides them — you draft on name and gut alone, a pure test of ball knowledge.
Your Team OVR is the number that ranks you on the leaderboard. It's your XI's quality, built up like this:
The strongest squads push past 100 OVR. This rating is pure squad quality — your formation does not change it (it changes how you play, not your leaderboard number).
In Full Team drafts, the positions you pick — especially your 3 FLEX slots — settle your XI into a real formation (like 4-3-3 or 5-3-2) and one of four tactical identities. Your identity shapes how your matches play out:
It's a real but secondary lever: a smart shape gives you an edge in a matchup and changes your scorelines, but a clearly stronger squad still wins most of the time. Aiming your strength at an opponent's weakness is worth a few percent — not a free win.
Your opponents are real historical World Cup squads, drawn to match the round. Each match is decided by a calibrated model, not a coin flip:
