Common Ground is a daily sports grouping puzzle. There are 16 names and 4 hidden groups of 4. A group can be anything they really share: a team, a college, a jersey number, a last name, a title team. Find all 4 groups before you miss 4 times.

• Tap four names you think go together. Then lock it in.
• "One away" means 3 of your picks go together. Swap one name, not the whole group.
• Get a group right and it clears off the board and shows what they share.
• Miss 4 times and the board’s done. Solve it to keep your streak.

One board a day

Everybody gets the same 16 names. A new board drops at midnight your time. Solve it to keep your streak going. Common Ground is an Arcade Card game. Tips

• Lock in the group you’re surest of first. Every group you clear takes 4 names off the board and makes the rest easier.
• If five names fit one idea, one of them goes somewhere else. The obvious theme is the trap.
• A group can be a last name, a jersey number or a college. Read the names as words, not just careers.
