How to play High Low

Rules and tips

High Low is the Arcade’s endless streak game. Pick a category. You see players two at a time. Every time, it’s the same call: is the next player higher or lower on that stat? Every right call keeps your run going. Miss once and it’s over.

  • Pick your sport: NBA, NFL or MLB stats.
  • Get it right and you see the real number. Then the next player comes up.
  • There’s no finish line. Your run ends on your first miss.

Scores and the daily board

Your longest run is your score. The daily board resets at midnight your time. High Low is an Arcade Card game. A free RunThe.GG account gets one play of it, once ever. The Daily Crossword, Sportegories, Alma Mater and Career Path are free every day, no account needed. The Card opens all twelve with no limit, plus the Archive of every past day. Five of the games also have NBA, NFL and MLB editions.

Tips

  • Every right call shows you the real number. That number is the baseline for the next one. Play the gap, not the name.
  • Career totals favor long careers over great ones. 18 seasons usually beats 9, no matter who played the 9.
  • Different eras don’t line up on raw totals. Check when each guy played before you go with the bigger name.
